This year we will be trying some new things so everyone will have an opportunity to VOLUNTEER THEIR SKILLS!!
A tremendous amount of research has been studied on the effects parent attitudes and actions have on their children's academic success. All of the results have been consistent. "When parents are involved in their children's education at home, they do better in school. And when parents are involved in school, children go farther in school and the schools are also better."
Major Benefits:
Research shows when parents are involved in their children's education, the children are more likely to:
1. earn better grades
2. score higher on tests
3. pass their classes
4. attend school regularly
5. have better social skills
6. show improved behavior
7. be more positive in their attitudes toward school
8. complete homework assignments
9. graduate & continue their education
